Acquisition of a new scanner in replacement of the old scanner dating from 1995

Polyclinique Atlas is a multidisciplinary private medical establishment which brings together a set of specialties such as radiology, general medicine, surgery and other specialties. It is one of the pioneering clinics in the aforementioned fields in Morocco and relies on particularly qualified medical and surgical care teams, as well as on a modern technical platform at the cutting edge of the highest technologies. This new investment was an opportunity to improve the quality of health services in the city of Benimellal.

In this sense, the clinic decided to renew a part of its medical equipment by opting for efficient and reliable equipment, at the cutting edge of technology available in the market, in order to offer the best medical care to its patients.

Thus, as part of its investment program, Polyclinique ATLAS has acquired a new latest-generation scanner to replace the old one that has become dilapidated. This investment achieved thanks to the technical assistance and the funding of GEFFII, delivers an exceptional image quality while reducing image noise, and ensuring high efficiency, which prevents unnecessary wear and increases the daily treatment capacity of patients.

Thanks to its new conception in terms of energy consumption, the new scanner generates an energy saving of 21% annually, with a reduction in the carbon footprint of around 1.73 TeqCO2/year compared to the old scanner. This investment in energy efficiency improvements allowed the clinique to save more than 100,000 € per year due to reducing the consumption of energy and increase of productivity.
