Complete the Application Form from your chosen Participating Financial Institution (PFI) and submit it.
The respective PFI will then present your project proposal to the GEFF team, to be assess whether the project is eligible under the Facility.
The GEFF team will assess if project is eligible for financing and prepare an Assessment Report. Assessment Report is free of charge thanks to the funding provided by the European Union, the Austrian Ministry of Finance and the Western Balkan Investment Framework. The content and level of complexity of an Assessment depends on the complexity of the investment proposal.
PFI will assess your creditworthiness according to the Institution’s internal standards and procedures and after a positive assessment from GEFF team for the project’s eligibility, you will be provided financing.
Arrange for the project to be implemented. Ensure that you collect all invoices and a proof of payments as well as any installation certificates/commissioning certificates (if applicable) so you can submit them when you request verification.
Once your investment has been implemented, complete the Verification Request Form you can get from your chosen PFI and submit it to the branch along with documents collected in the previous step. The GEFF team will verify that the investment has been implemented in line with recommendations given in the Assessment Report. Verification requires an on-site visit.
After successful verification, the PFI will pay the investment incentive to your account. Your project could then become one of the GEFF success stories.
Note: Vendors and manufacturers are not eligible for investment incentives. For more information on incentives go to this link.
