All products and materials eligible for financing under GEFF are listed in the GEFF Technology Selector. The GEFF Technology Selector is a database of high-performing household products and materials that meet performance standards set by EBRD for the GEFF programme.

You can print the required Certificate by visiting the GEFF Technology Selector website. Please navigate to the CATEGORY section in the left-hand menu and select your desired product/material. Then, choose the product/material you wish to invest in and click ADD TO CERTIFICATE LIST on the right side. Once the Certificate List page opens, click Print Certificate, and a document download page will appear. Finally, click Download to save the certificate to your computer or mobile device.

The following documents are required for a successful verification:

• Invoice(s)
• Proof of payments
• Certificates of Eligibility
• Photos of the investment after installation
• Other documents as requested by the Facility Consultant/GEFF Team.

The invoice must include the following:
Technical details of the installed product/material, including the manufacturer’s name and exact model, which must match the model and manufacturer listed in the Certificate of Eligibility.

YES, The Certificate of Eligibility must be provided for all products and materials listed in the GEFF Technology Selector.
However, for installation costs, labor costs, fixing materials, etc. a Certificate of Eligibility is not required.

YES, If the borrower has access to the house or flat, and is thus able to access the property and perform the necessary works.

YES, you must complete fully the investment, apply for the grant and wait to receive an email completion notification by the GEFF Team before you repay the loan.
Verification is considered complete only when you will receive an official completion email notification from the GEFF Team.

NO, As an example, the same windows cannot be changed twice in the same location if one GEFF loan has already been taken out for this exact purpose.

YES, but only if they are integrated into an existing photovoltaic system. To confirm this, you must provide photos of the photovoltaic system installed at your home.

To ensure successful verification, please avoid the following:

• Mismatch between installed products and listed products in invoice – Ensure that the installed products/materials exactly match those listed on the invoice.
• Investing in non-eligible products/materials – Only invest in products/materials listed in the GEFF Technology Selector or confirmed as eligible by the GEFF Team.
• Investing in commercially used areas – The investment must not be for commercial used purposes.
• Lacking proof of installation – You must provide supporting documents such as invoices, proof of payment, and photos to prove your installation.
• Prepaying the loan before verification – Do not prepay the loan before the GEFF Team completes verification and you receive an email completion notification by them.
• Applying for multiple grants – You cannot apply for a GEFF grant if you have received or will receive grants from other sources for the same investment.
