The EBRD continues to support the countries it invests in with various initiatives directed towards the green economy transition, sustainable development and the implementation of innovative and high-performing technologies. Throughout its years of operation, the EBRD has initiated numerous programmes that promote “green” approaches to the private and public sectors, all aimed at achieving its goal of securing a more sustainable future.
As part of the EBRD’s ongoing support, its Taipei Office is hosting a webinar “Accelerating the circular economy”, which will be held on 24 February 2022. The main purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the circular economy and various actions businesses can take to fast-track their transition towards it. Unlike a linear economy, the circular economy is aimed at recirculating products and materials in order to eliminate waste and pollution. Apart from the clear benefit for the environment, a circular economy model also serves businesses, helping them reuse their materials and recycle their waste products, which in the end will reduce their operational costs.
Along with the EBRD sharing their knowledge on ways to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in its countries of operations, the webinar will also showcase businesses from various industries. These will tell their own success stories, with details of the ways they found that upcycling, recycling, reusing and value recovery can be beneficial for enterprises.
Register for the webinar and learn more about the circular economy and how your business can benefit from its principles. Attendance if free of charge.
