GEFF and UniCredit Bank Energy-Efficient Day takes place in Banja Luka
On the occasion of marking Earth Day, the EBRD GEFF program, the UniCredit Bank Banja Luka and the leading producers and sellers of green technologies organized the “GEFF and UniCredit Bank Energy-Efficient Day” outside the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.
During the event, producers and sellers of energy-efficient technologies, which were evaluated and approved by the GEFF, presented to citizens the green technologies such as a heat pump, pellet boiler, energy-efficient windows and insulation. Implementation of these technologies in apartments or houses makes it possible to save significant amounts of money, increase the comfort of home and reduce the air pollution, which benefits the environment we live in.
During the “GEFF and UniCredit Bank Energy-Efficient Day”, visitors had an opportunity to get informed at one place about energy-efficient products of the companies “Aluplast”, “Austrotherm”, “Luk”, “ThermoFLUX” and “Vaillant”, as well as about the GEFF credit line implemented in cooperation with one of the partner financial institutions – the UniCredit Bank, through which the energy efficiency projects can simply be implemented with the EU’s financial incentive in the amount of up to 20 percent of the investment value.
Energy efficiency measures are aimed at reducing the consumption of electricity and thermal energy in households and increasing the comfort and quality of people’s lives. Every citizen can consume energy in an efficient manner and save money at the same time. By using the energy-efficient technologies in households, such as highly energy-efficient windows and doors, heating/cooling systems and systems used for insulation, families can significantly reduce the annual financial costs for energy, keep their house or apartment warm during winter and enjoy even the warmest days.
The EBRD GEFF developed the online Energy Efficiency Calculator in order to help citizens of BiH find out how much energy and money they can save by using affordable and highly energy-efficient technologies. Owners of apartments and houses can now calculate savings on their own, and they can also find out which technologies can help them increase the energy efficiency of their home and reduce the air pollution.
