System Contracting Façade Solutions expanded its business by installing three new cut-off sawing machines for special façade designs.

System Contracting was established in 2000 as a specialized company in the manufacturing of aluminum facades, providing façade systems for large-scale construction projects of administrative and commercial buildings.

The investment helped the company upgrade to new machines that are more precise and perform faster cutting operations compared to the replaced ones. The new machines are computerized and hence compared to the older technology – which require more manual intervention – allow for producing more precise cuts at faster speeds and with higher precision. Tthe upgrade in technology resulted in increased production and the introduction of new products. It also improved the overall final product quality. Through this investment, the company is also able to supply the market with products that were previously solely supplied by international competitors.

The VC team evaluated the technical and financial feasibility of the project, advised the company on best available technologies and confirmed the potential of product improvement and its positive impact on sales growth, and hence on the company’s profitability and competitiveness.

The US$ 155,000 investment is expected to increase production capacity by approx. 30% and boost profits by approx. 28%.
