Acquisition of commercial electric trucks enhances the efficiency of freight transport and strengthens business sustainability in Astana
Yans LLP, registered in 2013 in the city of Astana, has implemented a project to acquire eco-friendly commercial vehicles to meet its operational needs in the wholesale trade of a wide range of goods. The project aims to satisfy the growing demand for goods delivery and enhance the efficiency of the company’s logistics processes.
Kazakhstan is experiencing steady growth in wholesale trade volumes, driven by the development of urban infrastructure and increasing consumer demand. Consequently, there is a rising need for reliable and cost-effective transport solutions for urban delivery routes.
To meet its operational requirements, the company applied to Bank CenterCredit JSC for financing to acquire 20 electric commercial trucks. The selected models successfully passed the eligibility check, were confirmed to meet the criteria of the EBRD’s GEFF (Green Economy Financing Facility) program, and received the required financing.
The acquisition of commercial electric trucks represented an important step for the company, allowing it not only to significantly reduce operational costs for goods transportation, but also to decrease harmful emissions into the urban environment.
