On April 11, 2025, the KyrSEFF office in Bishkek hosted a training on “Green Technologies and Financing for Modern Business Development” specially designed for women entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan.

The training was conducted by Janybek Kulumbetov, KyrSEFF program engineer, who showed on real cases how green technologies can become a competitive advantage for small businesses.

What participants learned:
Climate Challenge – how climate change is already affecting various business sectors in Kyrgyzstan
Energy Efficiency = Profit – concrete examples of saving resources and money
5 key types of energy saving that work in our conditions
Hidden Benefits – how environmental friendliness improves image and attracts customers
Financial Support – detailed analysis of KyrSEFF loan products and grants

Special emphasis was made on practical and practical ways to improve the business environment.
– How to calculate the payback of green technologies for a specific business
– Which technologies are best suited for service sectors, manufacturing, etc.

This training is part of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) program aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs and strengthening their position in the business world. It combines theory and practice, creating a space for growth, experience sharing and inspiration.
