Dear partners, we are pleased to invite you to the Gender and Climate workshop to be held on October 16, 2024. The event is dedicated to discussing climate change mitigation through green finance and strengthening the role of women in this process.

The workshop is organized by the Green Economy Finance Program (KyrSEFF) and the Small Business Advisory Program (ASB) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The event will present the results of the KyrSEFF Gender Baseline Assessment, followed by a panel discussion with experts from the financial and business sectors on “Climate Change Mitigation through Green Finance: Strengthening the Role of Women”.

The discussion also provides an opportunity to discuss barriers and solutions to improve women’s access to green finance, as well as the important role women play in the transition to a green economy.

The seminar is supported by the EBRD Shareholder Fund and the Government of Japan.
