According to Zhanybek Kulumbetov and Bakyt Askarbekov, there are different types of materials for insulation in the construction market. But preference should be given to energy-saving ones.
When insulating, it is important to follow energy-efficient construction technologies to avoid so-called cold bridges or places where heat losses occur. The most popular are polystyrene foam, penoplex, and polyurethane foam; non-flammable thermal insulation materials are mineral wool, expanded clay, and basalt fiber.
