After contacting KyrSEFF and insulation works in Baktygul Isirailova's house, heating is almost not used and electricity bills have decreased.

Baktygul Isirailova, a chemistry teacher from one of the capital’s schools, has been living in a private house in Besh Kungei village for 3 years.

Before applying to the KyrSEFF program in August 2023, their dwelling was cold, they had to heat it with coal or turn on a heater since September to get warm. And even in the spring, it was chilly indoors.

she said that they came to the office for a consultation with KyrSEFF engineers and afterwards recommendations were made on how to implement energy efficient measures.

The loan officers at Kompanion Bank quickly approved the loan and the funds were disbursed.
The walls were insulated with 10 cm thick foam and the façade was covered with liquid travertine.

As a result, energy savings amounted to 20 MWh/year.
Carbon dioxide emission savings will be 12.3 tons/year.

“We have winterized 3 winters, it was always cold, but after the insulation we noticed how comfortable it became, the room keeps warm for a long time, we almost don’t heat this winter. We not only save energy and pay less for electricity, but also reduce the amount of harmful substances into the atmosphere”, – said Baktygul Isirailova.
