After receiving the loan, high efficiency ovens, baking ovens, refrigeration and freezing equipment, as well as A+ class air conditioners were installed in the “Cheburek&Manty” café.
Modern business is increasingly starting with careful planning of technical solutions already at the construction stage. This exact approach was used when opening the new national cuisine café “Cheburek&Manty” in Osh, located near the city hall in the central part of the city.
The café is a modern one story facility with an area of 120 square meters. The menu is based on freshly prepared national dishes: cheburek, manty, baked goods, and other popular dishes.

For the café owner, Mansur Tilanov, it was important from the very beginning to provide technical equipment that would ensure stable kitchen operation, comfort for visitors, and reasonable operating costs in the future.
Since the facility is designed for a steady flow of customers and intensive daily work, installing modern equipment became one of the key tasks at the business launch stage. For uninterrupted kitchen operation, equipment was required that could withstand high loads, maintain the necessary temperature regime, and ensure a stable production process.

In 2024, to open the café, the entrepreneur applied to DemirBank, where he received consultation on loan opportunities through the KyrSEFF programme. After technical assessment, solutions were selected that met the requirements of the programme implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
After receiving the loan, high efficiency ovens, baking ovens, refrigeration and freezing equipment, as well as A+ class air conditioners were installed in the “Cheburek&Manty” café.

This made it possible to improve kitchen reliability and ensure electricity savings of 29.39 MWh per year, while at the same time reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.52 tonnes annually.
According to café owner Mansur Tilanov, modern equipment plays a key role in the stable operation of the establishment: “If the equipment is of high quality, it must work constantly and without interruptions. For the kitchen this is essential, dishes must be served hot, and product storage temperature must be strictly maintained.”

As an additional result, heating costs were also reduced. While in similar establishments monthly expenses can reach 30,000–35,000 soms, here the average cost is 20,000–25,000 soms.
The installed air conditioners provide a comfortable microclimate for visitors and staff: the indoor temperature is maintained at +20…+22°C.
After successful project implementation, the entrepreneur received a 10% grant support within the KyrSEFF programme.
“For business, it is important to think not only about today’s expenses, but also about the future, especially financial sustainability. Later we would like to install solar panels, because water is becoming scarcer and the use of solar energy is becoming increasingly relevant. We are satisfied that we received grant support, and we would like to see more such projects in Kyrgyzstan. I thank the KyrSEFF team for consultations and assistance in selecting equipment,” noted Mansur Tilanov.
According to the owner, the experience gained showed that thoughtful equipment selection at the initial stage really affects the further operation of the business.
