Thanks to the KyrSEFF loan, Gulzat Ismailova not only insulated her home, but also purchased household appliances with high energy consumption class.
Kemin resident Gulzat Ismailova has dreamed for many years of having a spacious kitchen where her large family could gather. She recalls that their kitchen used to be very small and everyone could not fit in, and it was cold in winter.
After consulting with her husband, Gulzat decided to build a new kitchen. To do this, she applied for a loan from Kompanion Bank and the KyrSEFF Program. Two loans were obtained in her name and the name of her husband, Myktybek Artykbaev.
The funds were used to build a kitchen with an insulated floor and A+ class energy efficient appliances: an air conditioner and a refrigerator. Gulzat Ezhe said that last winter it was very warm in the new kitchen. The temperature in the room reached +25°C thanks to the air conditioner and warm floor. All family members were satisfied with the comfortable conditions.
In addition, the KyrSEFF program provided a loan to insulate the ceiling and exterior walls in the living room under construction. The couple has already received the first grant for energy efficiency measures.
The total energy savings are about 22 MW and the CO2 savings are more than 11 tons. A grant of up to 15% of the loan amount can be awarded for the implementation of these measures.
