EVN North Macedonia’s photovoltaic systems are becoming more suitable for households with a 15% grant from the ECO loan of Sparkasse Bank North Macedonia.
EVN North Macedonia’s photovoltaic systems, designed according to the needs of customers, are becoming more affordable to all interested customers. EVN North Macedonia and Sparkasse Bank North Macedonia have reached a cooperation agreement, through which the ECO loan of Sparkasse Bank North Macedonia can also be used to finance the photovoltaic systems offered by EVN North Macedonia.
Through the ECO loan of Sparkasse Bank, customers have the possibility of a grant of 15% of the total value of EVN’s photovoltaic systems. The ECO loan is intended for individuals with a maximum amount of EUR 50.000, interest rate in the first three years of 5,7% and flexible in the remaining period of repayment starting at 5,9%.
This funding opportunity makes renewable energy for households even more affordable. All interested customers practically get a complete process. The EVN North Macedonia’ service provides full service according to the turnkey model, meaning development of a personalized solution based on an analysis the customer’s building and procurement and installation of photovoltaic systems. From now on, customers will also be able to complete the solution financing through the ECO loan of Sparkasse Bank North Macedonia.

The ECO loan of Sparkasse Bank has been provided by the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) program developed by the EBRD for the Western Balkans. The EBRD’s goal is to create markets for self-sustainable demand for investment in high-performance technologies in order to raise awareness of modern energy performance standards through GEFF. The GEFF program is supported by and is a source of grants from the European Union.
By installing a photovoltaic system or solar panels, one household can cover about 30% of the total annual electricity consumption.
