Eligibility criteria

We help clients of participating financial institutions identify and implement a wide range of green investment opportunities. Find out if you and your project are eligible for GEFF financing.

Who is eligible?

• Individuals owning or residing in a building or apartment in which they intend to implement an eligible investment;
• Private companies, enterprises, firms, sole proprietors or other legal entities who wish to invest in eligible technologies;
• Vendors of equipment or materials listed on the Green Technology Selector who are interested in participating in the Facility’s vendor financing programme;
• “Green” technology manufacturers, as listed on the Green Technology Selector, who are planning to sustain or expand the “green” part of their business.

What is eligible for financing

 Two broad categories of investments are eligible to be financed using GEFF:

• investments in standard pre-approved high-performing green technologies available on the online Technology Selector
• positively assessed complex investment projects that lead to energy, resource and water efficiency, as well as the positive environmental effect.

Investment eligibility

Maximum financing amounts apply, at the same time special eligibility requirements may apply to your type of business, as the financing is subject to the usual eligibility criteria of each of our financing partners.
