The 2022 EBRD/GEFF Mongolia Gender Baseline Assessment, summarised in this infographic, highlights how climate change affects women and their access to green finance. It outlines the key challenges women in Mongolia face, including limited access to finance, information, and decision-making opportunities, while also demonstrating their strong interest in investing in energy-efficient and climate-resilient technologies. GEFF Mongolia supports gender-responsive green financing by working with partner financial institutions to expand access to green loans, promote inclusive lending practices, and empower women-led businesses to contribute to Mongolia’s green economic transition.
