Abdulhafiz Salomov has been engaged in agricultural activities since 2000. He operates 7 hectares of farmland, including 6 hectares of vineyards and additional land used for crop cultivation. He learned farming skills from his father and has steadily developed his agricultural business over the years.
To improve product storage and increase value addition, he first obtained financing from Arvand Bank and constructed four large cold storage facilities at his residence. These facilities are currently operational and used for storing agricultural produce. The initial loan was fully repaid through income generated from farming and cold storage operations.
Building on this successful experience, the entrepreneur secured additional financing under the GEFF II Tajikistan program with support from Arvand Bank. A loan of TJS 1 million was allocated for the construction of a 1-hectare greenhouse.
The greenhouse is now fully operational and used for cultivating tomatoes and cucumbers. The project enables year-round vegetable production, increases farm profitability, and supports the sustainable development of the agricultural business.
