Modernization of the manufacturing units of a company operating in furniture.

Media Progetti is a Moroccan SME specialized in the manufacture and distribution of standard and ecological kitchen furniture. Located in the industrial zone of Dar Bouazza, the company’s site covers an area of two hectares and includes a showroom and storage depots. The main products offered by Media Progetti are: front doors, boxes and panels.

As part of the modernization of its production facilities, MEDIA PROGETTI has decided to renew two of its edge banding machines with a new machine that consumes less electrical energy.

The new FRAVOL S600-23 EVO brand machine has an electrical power of 14.20 kW and a production rate of 18 meters of edge per hour. It is a compact, robust and ideal machine for industry and crafts. It is versatile and can be used for the application of edges in PVC, ABS, melamine, veneer, solid, strip or roll. The new edge banding machine is fully automatic and equipped with a variable speed drive. It guarantees high precision and high speed throughout the gluing activity.

The implementation of this project, funded by SogeLease, reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 45.87 T eq CO2 per year compared to the baseline and saves approximately 80.19 MWh in electrical energy.
