A Serbian clothing manufacturer, Eminent, has been manufacturing clothing for men and women sing 1990s and has since created a successful brand called Legend World Wide. The demand for the brand has been great and the company has undergone a large expansion, selling products in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The company decided to upgrade it’s old and poorly functioning equipment, washing machines, driers and a textile spray cabin and applied for a WebSEFF loan though one of the partner banks.

The WebSEFF team performed the analysis of the investment, its technical-economic parameters and risks to make sure the investment leads to sufficient energy savings and reduction of CO2 emissions.

Eminent invested € 239,100 into new energy-efficient equipment that allowed Eminent to reduce its energy consumption by 966 MWh each year, resulting in annual financial savings of € 36,400. The machines are time-saving as well as energy saving.

This facility was developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and is supported by the EU and the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
