TurSEFF financing supports transition to green energy through the installation of a rooftop solar power plant with PV panels selected from Green Technology Selector (GTS).
Established in 1968, Enderpen is a well-established manufacturer of PVC window systems based in Gaziantep.
The company decided to invest in renewable energy by installing a rooftop solar power plant at its production facility.
TurSEFF team advised company about alternative and economic ways to realize this investment. The team helped the company in using Green Technology Selector, and to select the optimum pre-approved equipment from the tool.
The investment was realized with the support of €1,642,470 TurSEFF financing in 2022. As a result, the plant is expected to generate annual electricity savings of 4,575 MWh.
The project is also anticipated to reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 1,647 tonnes per year, making a significant contribution to environmental sustainability and the fight against climate change.
Türkiye Sustainable Energy Financing Facility (TurSEFF) was developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and is co-funded by the European Union (EU), the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Treasury and Finance (MoTF), and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MoENR).
