The company has acquired an energy-efficient tractor for sustainable development
A Kazakhstani construction company, operating in the market since 2007, specializes in road construction and the rental of construction equipment.
In 2025, due to an increase in project volume, the company needed to acquire an additional unit of heavy machinery. The company’s management approached Bank CenterCredit for financing, where they were introduced to the EBRD’s Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF), aimed at supporting investments in energy-efficient technologies.
With the assistance of bank specialists, a suitable excavator model was selected from the Green Technology Selector – an online database of eligible equipment. This allowed the loan approval and disbursement process to proceed quickly and smoothly.
“It is important for us that our equipment is not only high-performing but also cost-effective to operate. The new excavator model has demonstrated excellent results – it consumes less fuel, which helps us reduce operating costs and simultaneously lower our environmental impact. The GEFF programme made it possible to acquire modern equipment on favorable terms. We believe that investing in such technologies is a contribution to the sustainable development of both our business and the environment,” said Mr. Ibraev A.B., Director of ARM CONSTRUCTION GROUP LLP.
This project was supported by the Climate Investment Funds (CIF).
