New energy-efficient refrigerator helps to keep vegetables and herbs fresh and reduce energy consumption
An entrepreneur from Shakhtinsk has been cooperating for many years with local vegetable producers who supply their products to her store. Recently, a variety of herbs (dill, arugula, basil, iceberg lettuce) has become in high demand. To keep the freshness of herbs for as long as possible, the entrepreneur decided to purchase a new refrigerator. She understood that the purchase of new refrigerator was an investment for many years ahead, so she considered only models with an A ++ energy class. Having chosen the right model, the entrepreneur learned from a consultant in the store that the refrigerator she liked can be purchased under the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) from the EBRD for credit funds of financial partners and it is possible to receive an incentive -cashback. The woman was very interested in such an opportunity. She applied for a loan to Microfinance organization (MFO) “KMF”. The KMF manager checked the registration of the selected model of refrigerator on the website of the Green Technology Selector and issued a loan.
“Now I order almost twice as many herbs as before. In the new refrigerator, it is well stored and retains its beneficial properties. Customers know, I always have fresh products and therefore often come to my store. Sales volumes are growing, customers are happy, and my business is developing successfully. Thanks to a loan from MFO KMF and the GEFF Program, I was able to purchase a high-quality refrigerator, previously prohibitively expensive for me. The selected model runs quietly and consumes less electricity. The Program is very good, I advise it everyone!,” -the entrepreneur said.
