Energy efficient windows for a beauty salon in Kapshagay city, Almaty region

The owner of a small beauty salon in the city of Kapshagay decided to replace the old windows with new ones. The decision was made due to multiple customers’ complaints about the strong wind blowing from the windows. The comfort of the clients is one of the key conditions for a successful beauty salon. It has been decided to purchase high-quality energy efficient windows.

Recently, the owner of the beauty salon visited her friend in the city of Nur-Sultan. Her friend shared how she successfully and profitably replaced the old windows in her apartment with energy efficient ones, using the Green Economy Financing (GEFF) Programme from the EBRD. Since the programme operates throughout Kazakhstan, the owner of the salon found the supplier of eligible windows in the city of Kapshagay with a help of the Green Technology Selector and placed an order. To pay for the order, the woman used credit funds of the Microfinance organization (MFO) “KMF”.

“I have submitted the documents for verification-check immediately after the windows installation with the support of the loan manager of the MFO “KMF”. In a couple of weeks, I have received an incentive in the amount of 10% of the windows price, including the costs of delivery and installation. The loan was taken for one year, the monthly costs of the loan servicing are acceptable. The programme is great! Now it has become much more comfortable in my beauty salon, and there are even more clients,” the woman shared. At the time of verification, the loan must not be repaid. The incentive is paid promptly, until the end of the following calendar month from the date of verification. The incentive is paid to a separate account. It is possible to withdraw the incentive before the loan repayment.
