Two duplex efficient vibrating rollers to replace the old inefficient ones

CAMPEZO is a a Moroccan company specialized in civil construction, technology, infrastructure management, environment, and building rehabilitation. As part of its modernisation strategy, the company decided to call on the GEFFII for its new investment  in two duplex vibratory rollers. The company previously used rental rollers of different brands depending on the location of the site.

The new duplex rollers will give excellent surface coverage and gradeability with the help of the hydrostatic drum drive. Infinitely variable speed combined with Twin Vibration Technology (TVT) delivers a smooth and regular surface. The TVT features vibratory elements in both drums. As both the drums are used actively for compaction, the number of passes can be reduced saving time & money.

This new investment has enabled the company to reduce its annual diesel consumption by 3,420 l/year, corresponding to a 62% reduction compared to the baseline consumption. GHG emissions are thus reduced by 11.08 teqCO2 each year.

Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) in Morocco is a green economy financing program, implemented by the European European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will provide financing to Moroccan private enterprises through local financial institution partners. Supported by the European Union (EU), the Green Climate Fund (GCF). It will enable local companies to invest in green technologies, reduce their costs through climate adaptation measures, energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
