How Bobomurod Tagoev Expands His Family Farm with Sustainable Solutions

Bobomurod Mahmadusufovich Tagoev, a veterinarian by training and an experienced farmer from Yavan district, has been developing his family farm for over ten years together with his wife and children, combining livestock breeding and crop production. His main activities include purchasing, fattening, and selling large and small livestock, as well as cultivating crops such as wheat and alfalfa.

In spring 2025, Tagoev decided to expand his business activities and turned to the micro-deposit organization “Imon International” for financial support. Receiving a loan of 80,000 somoni, he allocated the funds for building a greenhouse, which will allow him to produce crops year-round and further strengthen the family budget’s resilience.

The greenhouse is being built using modern solutions, including energy-saving materials and a well-designed irrigation system, making the project more resistant to seasonal risks and economically efficient. Thus, Bobomurod is not only diversifying his income sources but also creating a more sustainable business model for his farm.

“In our time, it’s not enough to just work — it’s important to work smart. With the support I’ve received, I’m confident I can provide for my family and reach a new level,” he says.

Tagoev expresses his gratitude to the “Imon International” team for their trust and personalized approach. His story is an example of how green financing helps rural entrepreneurs not only grow but also adapt to new sustainable development challenges.
