How Safar Khasanov Strengthens Agribusiness with Sustainable Solutions

Safar Gurgulievich Khasanov is the head of the “Safar” farm in Yavan district, where he lives and works alongside his family. With over 30 years of experience in agriculture, his farm covers 11.19 hectares of land, including 9.08 hectares of irrigated fields. The main crops are cotton, alfalfa, and wheat. In addition to crop production, Safar also provides technical services to other farmers.

Safar has not only achieved a stable income level but continues to modernize his operations. In spring 2025, he turned to the micro-deposit organization “Imon International” for support. Receiving 82,000 somoni, he invested in purchasing a trailer, which allowed him to optimize farm logistics and increase production volumes.

This investment was a continuation of his consistent efforts to develop a sustainable farm: previously, Safar had successfully repaid a 250,000 somoni loan and received positive recommendations from the local community. His systematic approach, full family involvement, and efficient use of resources make his farm a model of responsible agricultural management.

“If you work wisely and with support, everything is possible. The main thing is not to be afraid to expand and implement new ideas,” says Safar.

Thanks to green financing and reliable partnerships, the “Safar” farm continues to grow. Safar contributes not only to his family’s well-being but also to the development of the region’s agricultural sector, creating a sustainable model to follow.
