Local supplier extends its “green” product line with GEFF financing

JSC Terma is a leading supplier of heating, cooling and ventilation systems that has been operating in Georgia since 1998. Throughout the company’s history, it has successfully collaborated with world producers to bring high-quality products to the Georgian market.

In efforts to extend its energy-efficient product line, JSC Terma decided to approach a GEFF partner financial institution about financing the import of heating and cooling devices of various capacities.

A dedicated team of GEFF technical consultants performed the project analysis and assessed the financial and technical parameters of the investment.

The company’s $290,000 investment will allow home owners to collectively save 903.81 MWh/year in electricity consumption and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 245 tonnes/year.

“We are constantly looking for ways to make our business more competitive. GEFF funding will allow us to further extend our energy-efficient portfolio and offer a wider range of green technologies to our customers.”

With green investments, the EBRD supports the sustainable financing and implementation of sustainable energy projects by the private sector. Together, the private, residential and public sectors can make a change in energy consumption patterns and contribute to environmental protection.

This project is supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Federal Ministry of Austria (BMF).
