New energy-efficient refrigerator for a veterinary clinic of the village of Zhanakorgan

A private entrepreneur from the village of Zhanakorgan has been running the veterinary clinic where she works as a veterinarian for many years. The villagers bring their animals for vaccination and treatment every day. Most of the medicines require special storage conditions in the refrigerator, but the old refrigerator often broke down. The entrepreneur learned about the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) programme  from the EBRD from her client and decided to purchase a new energy-efficient refrigerator. With this regard she contacted the Microfinance organization (MFO) “KMF”. The loan manager supported her with the selection of the eligible model on the webpage of the Green Technology Selector. He also informed that an incentive in the amount of 10% of the total purchase price or loan amount will only be paid until November 30, 2022. Therefore, the entrepreneur quickly applied for a loan to purchase a new energy-efficient refrigerator of a famous Turkish manufacturer, and also submitted documents for verification.

“With the help of the GEFF Programme and a loan from MFO “KMF” I was finally able to purchase a better refrigerator, which I had long dreamed of. I like the new refrigerator! It works silently, consumes less electricity, does not harm the environment and will serve longer. The Programme is very good, I advise it everyone!” says the entrepreneur
