Acquisition of a forklift truck

As part of its modernization strategy, MAROCYCLAGE, a company specialized in the recycling of paper and plastic waste, has decided to invest in a new, more efficient forklift that is better suited to the growth of its operations. Indeed, the process used prior to this acquisition relied on energy-intensive and primarily manual transportation devices, which made it necessary to adopt a more efficient solution.

The new forklift boasts more advanced technological features in terms of energy efficiency. With a power rating of 43 kW and a load capacity of 3 tonnes, this equipment enables the company to achieve greater loading capacity, thereby reducing the processing time required. The equipment is characterised by its robust design, improved safety conditions, ease of operation and handling, and local availability of spare parts.

Thanks to this new investment made under the GEFF II financing line, MAROCYCLAGE has benefited from the technical assistance of expert consultants and has been able to reduce its annual electricity consumption by 22% and its greenhouse gas emissions by 19.32 teqCO2 each year.
