Acquisition of a medical imaging equipment.
RABAT CITY, a Moroccan SME specialized in clinical management. In order to expand its operations and meet the local demand for medical imaging services, RABAT CITY invested in a new scanner for its clinic Assalam located in Nador, Assalam Clinic is a private medical-surgical facility with a specialization in cardiovascular care.
Compared to other scanners on the market, this scanner uses less energy both during operation and in sleep mode. It also features Organ Dose Modulation (ODM), a key dose reduction technology that optimizes overall dose while maintaining the noise index (NI) and reducing dose to sensitive areas. Additionally, the equipment operates with remarkable efficiency and enables the completion of 40 scans per day, compared to the previous generation, which allows for only 20 scans per day.
This investment supported by the Green Value Chain Facility has helped boost working conditions while minimizing energy consumption, the energy saving from this investment is 4.28 MWh/year of electrical energy corresponding to 25 % savings compared to the previous generations. As a result, this investment resulted in a reduction in CO2 emissions by 2.45 TCO2 annually. The payback period is evaluated at 3 years and 2 months due to the gains in productivity and the energy savings.
