Acquisition of a new high-quality image scanner
Clinique Val d’Anfa is a private healthcare center established in Casablanca, offering a wide range of medical and surgical services covering various specialties such as general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, and many others.
As part of its modernization process, Clinique Val d’Anfa has enlisted the GVC team to benefit from financing and technical assistance from the program. The clinic has chosen to acquire a scanner from Siemens Healthineers, the Somatom go.Now model.
This scanner leverages cutting-edge technologies to provide exceptional CT imaging. Equipped with a powerful X-ray tube and state-of-the-art detectors, it enables the acquisition of detailed anatomical images with high spatial resolution. The scanner also incorporates dose reduction technologies and protocols to minimize patient exposure to radiation while preserving image quality.
This investment allows the clinic to reduce its annual energy consumption by 2.33 MWh. This will result in a yearly reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 1.33 metric tons of CO2 equivalent.
