Refrigeration equipment for a pharmacy in Atbasar

A young entrepreneur from the city of Atbasar, Akmola region, has been running a small pharmacy since 2021. She decided to get a new refrigerator to provide special storage conditions for medicines. In a household appliance store, a woman learned from a consultant about the opportunities of receiving incentive in the amount of 10% of the purchase price with the help of the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) programme from the EBRD. The woman was very interested in such an opportunity. The woman selected a refrigerator from a well-known Korean brand on the website of the Green Technology Selector. She applied for a loan to the Microfinance organization (MFO) “KMF”, the financial partners of the Programme. Having paid for the purchase, the entrepreneur submitted documents for verification-check. The next month she received an incentive in the amount of 10% of the costs of refrigerator and delivery.

“GEFF programme is an excellent support tool for start-up entrepreneurs. It is important to purchase high-quality, reliable equipment that will last for many years. Now I can expand the range of medicines that customers need so much.” At the time of verification, the loan must not be repaid. The incentive is paid promptly, until the end of the following calendar month from the date of verification. The incentive is paid to a separate account. It is possible to withdraw the incentive before the loan repayment.
