Safarbek Sultonov Develops Modern Agricultural Storage Infrastructure

Safarbek Sultonov Rahmonovich, a resident of Hisor (Mirzo Rizo Jamoat, Tuda village), is an entrepreneur with hands-on experience in the agricultural sector who is investing in modern storage technologies. One of his key projects is the construction of a high-tech cold storage facility in Tursunzoda, located near the aluminum plant. The facility will have a capacity of up to 600 tons of agricultural products.

What makes this project unique is the application of energy-efficient solutions: Safarbek plans to equip the cold storage chambers with Bitzer technology and polyurethane foam panels, which provide high thermal insulation and reduced energy consumption. These technologies have proven effective in practice and are in high demand among professionals.

At this stage, two of the several chambers have already been commissioned. The chambers are 6 meters high and 9 meters long, offering reliable storage conditions. The design includes space for truck access, allowing direct loading of products using forklifts—greatly simplifying logistics.

“I didn’t just want to build a cold storage unit, but rather a full-fledged infrastructure facility that would benefit many farmers and suppliers,” Safarbek shares. “With new technologies, we’re not only improving storage conditions but also minimizing crop losses.”

Safarbek’s project represents an important contribution to the sustainable development of the region’s agro-processing infrastructure. It not only creates new jobs but also promotes the adoption of green technologies across the region.
