Sprinkler for sprinkling the lawn of an office building in Almaty

The entrepreneur from Almaty owns a commercial building that he rents out. To maintain an attractive green lawn in front of the office building, he used simple garden hoses. However, this proved to be very inconvenient, as uncontrolled water consumption led to overwatering the lawn, causing the grassroots to lose viability and resulting in an unkempt appearance. To prevent these negative consequences, the entrepreneur decided to purchase sprinkler systems that would provide high-quality irrigation while conserving water.

The entrepreneur contacted the Consultant of EBRD`s the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF), who recommended acquiring modern sprinklers with improved technical features and offered a suitable financial solution. The suitable model was selected using the Green Technology Selector website and purchased using credit funds from the Program’s financial partners.

“The decision to purchase sprinklers turned out to be very effective. The sprinklers evenly distribute water across the entire lawn, which was a challenge with manual watering. Additionally, using sprinklers significantly reduced the time our staff spent on irrigation. Now, we can set the sprinklers on a specific schedule, and they automatically turn on and off. Moreover, the water consumption has significantly decreased. The results exceeded all my expectations!” – shared the satisfied entrepreneur.
