TurSEFF financing supports clean energy production through solar panel installations across Türkiye, with the solar panels selected from Green Technology Selector (GTS).
Yey Çatı is a solar energy company headquartered in the Çankaya district of Ankara, Türkiye. The company installs solar energy systems for a diverse range of individual and corporate clients throughout the country.
By supplying solar panels listed in the Green Technology Selector (GTS) to facilities under various contracts, Yey Çatı aims to support its clients in investing in green energy and to increase its market penetration by adopting new green technologies.
The investment was realized with TurSEFF financing of €418,090 in 2022. The project is expected to result in annual electricity savings of 624 MWh, supporting the reduction of operational costs and contributing to long-term financial sustainability.
This green energy investment is anticipated to reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 200 tonnes per year, making a significant contribution to Türkiye’s climate goals.
Türkiye Sustainable Energy Financing Facility (TurSEFF) was developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and is co-funded by the European Union (EU), the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Treasury and Finance (MoTF), and supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MoENR).
