Zarifa Uzokova, a resident of Istaravshan city, Navkat village, is the leader of the farm “Khoja Kurbonali,” which started its operations in 2023. The farm is engaged in growing watermelons, onions, and vegetables.
To improve the efficiency of irrigation and land use, the client first took a loan of TJS 240,000 from Arvand Bank, part of which was used to purchase plastic pipes and establish a drip irrigation system.
With the support of a grant of TJS 58,218.53 from the GEFF Tajikistan program, the farm was connected to modern irrigation systems. As a result, a drip irrigation system was fully implemented and is now operational.
The implementation of this project has led to significant improvements in irrigation efficiency, increasing crop yields and farm profitability, while ensuring the sustainable development of the farm and the effective use of water resources.
