The GEFF team presented comprehensive approach towards achieving the objectives of the program, including marketing, credit cycle of sub-projects and green investment procedures. These procedures are related to preparation of applications, approvals, monitoring, verification and reporting aspects for sub-projects. The introductory training also provided an information on project eligibility criteria and Green Technology Selector – Green Technology Selector – a list of high-performing technologies and materials that have been assessed and pre-approved as eligible for GEFF financial support. Detailed information was provided in regards to investment incentives and verification process and documentation needs. Besides, the GEFF team prepared and conducted a multiple choice quiz order to check effectiveness of the training. At the end of each training, participants provided their comments and filled a feedback form.
The training sessions showed how to identify the potential of resource savings in different sectors and how to advise potential beneficiaries on the green solutions.
