As part of the GEFF II Tajikistan programme, a series of online seminars on SAR (Simplified Assessment Report) /FAR (Full Assessment Report) investment project assessment and Green Building Certification (GBC) was held in March 2026.
The events were conducted in collaboration with partner financial institutions — ICB, Arvand Bank and Humo Bank — bringing together credit specialists, managers, and technical experts.
During the seminars, participants gained practical knowledge on the application of SAR and FAR methodologies, which are used to assess the compliance of investment projects with green finance principles.
Special attention was given to Green Building Certification (GBC) as a key tool for improving energy efficiency and environmental performance of buildings, as well as attracting sustainable investments.
The GEFF II engineering team presented the assessment methodology, shared practical case studies, and addressed participants’ questions, helping to strengthen understanding of the green project evaluation process.
These seminars contribute to strengthening the capacity of partner financial institutions, identifying promising sub-borrowers, and expanding access to technical assistance and green finance under the GEFF II Tajikistan programme.
