GEFF II Engineering Training at HUMO: Practical Skills for Green Projects
On July 15, 2025, an intensive engineering training took place at HUMO as part of the GEFF II program in Tajikistan. The event brought together specialists interested in expanding their knowledge of green technologies and their practical applications.
The training program covered five key topics:
• Basics of engineering design and project verification;
• Using the Green Technology Selector tool;
• Energy efficiency and monitoring tools;
• Renewable energy solutions, including solar and biogas;
• Climate adaptation technologies and risk monitoring.
The training was led by certified GEFF II experts — Sadriddin Juraev (agriculture specialist), Sino Rukniddinov (financial and economic expert), and Parvin Jabborov (lead engineer). Their practical experience and real-life examples helped participants better understand how to apply green solutions in their own projects.
The GEFF II program in Tajikistan is implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with financial support from the Green Climate Fund, the Republic of Austria, and the Republic of Korea. Through such trainings, GEFF II contributes to the development of a more environmentally sustainable economy and the capacity-building of financial institutions across the country.
