On 3 June 2026, GEFF II Tajikistan, in cooperation with Arvand Bank, held an award ceremony to recognise the best credit expert based on the results achieved under the bank’s first GEFF II credit line.

The event was organised to acknowledge the achievements of a staff member who made a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the first GEFF II credit line, the promotion of green finance, and support for clients implementing projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and adopting environmentally sustainable technologies.

During the ceremony, representatives of GEFF II Tajikistan and Arvand Bank highlighted the important role of credit experts in advancing green lending and raising client awareness of modern energy-efficient solutions. Thanks to their professionalism and proactive engagement, an increasing number of businesses and households are gaining access to financing for green technologies that help reduce energy consumption, improve resource efficiency, and strengthen long-term sustainability.

Based on the evaluation of performance results achieved under the first GEFF II credit line, Anvarjon Hamroev, a credit expert from Arvand Bank’s Hisor branch, was recognised as the Best Credit Expert. In recognition of his professional achievements and significant contribution to the promotion of green finance, he was awarded a certificate and a commemorative gift.

Such initiatives contribute to strengthening cooperation between GEFF II Tajikistan and financial institutions, while also motivating banking professionals to further promote sustainable finance and green investments across the country.

GEFF II Tajikistan is implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the Austrian Ministry of Finance, and the Republic of Korea, contributing to expanded access to green finance and the development of a sustainable economy in Tajikistan.
