Launch of Phase II of the GEFF Program in Tajikistan
We are pleased to announce the official launch of the second phase of the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF II) by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Tajikistan. This milestone initiative aims to support the country’s transition to a green economy and enhance its overall competitiveness.
Under the program, $50 million in financing will be made available to scale up investments in innovative green technologies across the residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors. A strong emphasis will also be placed on gender inclusion and equality.
GEFF II in Tajikistan is implemented by GOPA-International Energy Consultants GmbH (Intec), in cooperation with consortium partners Agriculture & Finance Consultants GmbH (AFC) and Central Asia International Consulting (CAI Consulting).
