Ekomas Enerji Elektrik Üretim ve Dağıtım A.Ş. (Ekomas Energy) is active in energy sector and installed a biomass power plant in Kırklareli province of Türkiye.
Ekomas made a Power Purchase Agreement with Kırklareli Organized Industrial Zone. The energy generated at the power plant is used to meet the energy needs of the OIZ. Thus, companies in the OIZ reduced their carbon footprints by using renewable energy.
As a result of the investment, the power plant will provide 68,305 MWh energy saving. This green energy investment will contribute mitigation of climate change’s negative impacts.
