The new subsoiler helps expedite the soil preparation process and achieve a high yield
The entrepreneur from South Kazakhstan region has been engaged in wheat cultivation for several years now. Each year, before the start of the planting season, he carries out soil cultivation on his fields to ensure a high yield. This year, he felt the need to acquire an additional subsoiler to expedite the processing since his planting area spans several hectares. The entrepreneur approached the Consultant of the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) from the EBRD, who advised to purchase a modern subsoiler and offered a suitable financial solution. According to the terms of the GEFF Program, the appropriate equipment should be selected on the Green Technology Selector website and acquired from any supplier using the credit funds of the Program’s financial partners.
“With the help of the credit funds, I acquired a new subsoiler, which improves the soil’s air and thermal conditions, activates biological processes, and prevents excessive soil moisture. I hope that this year, I will be able to achieve a higher yield,” the entrepreneur expressed with optimism.
The project was supported by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance.
Agricultural equipment can be acquired through leasing with the financial partners of the program.
