The KyrSEFF program was presented at the Green Waste EXPO forum in Bishkek on April 20, 2024. The event has become a key platform for bringing together the Kyrgyz waste management market, discussing policies and best practices, as well as finding new partners and establishing cooperation between government agencies, international organizations and businesses.

At the plenary session of the forum “Financial Opportunities for Waste Management Sector Development”, Nurzat Abdyrasulova, KyrSEFF Manager, made a presentation on the importance of sustainable consumption and production and spoke about KyrSEFF’s opportunities for lending to SMEs and households across the country in partnership with Companion Bank, Demir Bank, Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank, and FINCA Bank Kyrgyzstan. At the exhibition organized as part of the forum, our booth attracted the attention of many visitors. KyrSEFF engineers provided advice and information on a wide range of energy efficient solutions available for financing.

The Forum was organized by JIA Business Association and Accelerate Prosperity (AP) within the framework of the AP Asia project, co-financed by the European Union and the Aga Khan Foundation with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Government of Japan.
